thinking of change
Aug. 15th, 2009 12:42 pmFor 7 years, I've been working an Alternate Work Schedule. Each pay period (two weeks), I've been working 9 hours Mon - Thur, 8 hours the first Friday, and not working on the second Friday.
I'm thinking of changing to a regular 8 hour schedule.
Given that I'll be back at the university this fall, I thought I would start using the pool.
I've been thinking about swimming for a long time.
It is the only form of exercise that I enjoy.
I've tried swimming at the War Memorial Fitness Center, but there was never parking during the time I wanted to swim.
I don't want to join a club (with joining fee and monthly rates) if I can get the same thing for free.
Being on an 8 hour schedule would allow me to be at the university by 4 pm, (hopefully) before the pool is filled with the water polo club, the scuba diving classes, and the swim teams.
Opinions, please?
