I got a rebate card in the mail this week.  It has a few restrictions on it, so I was wondering what my friends would do in the same situation.

So. You get $200 pre-paid gift card.   It must be used by March 2010. It may not be used for purchasing gas.  If used at a restaurant, it will be declined for a bill over $165.  What would you buy?

I'm thinking about two options:  (a) going to the massage shop and purchasing a $200 gift certificate to myself (b) going to a local-run kitchen store and just splurging on stuff.  My third option would to purchase airline ticket to go see Molly during Lilith Fair, but I don't have a concert date yet.  Shall I wait for concert dates to be announced?

hmmmm all of them are good options. Maybe wait and see what Christmas holds to make a decision.

I'm currently trying to weed the book collection.
I want to do some remodel/redesign of my bedroom and office - and the bookcases have a lot of impulse purchase books that I know I won't read. I also want to weed the books that I've read and know I won't read again (or loan to friends). All the better for the Friends of Central Arkansas Library.

Those tickets are usually high order of expensive, most likely more than $200. But yes, I think there's a good chance that the $200 will become MOLLY money.

We discussed this yesterday. I think the MOLLY-concert dates is a good option. They are likely to be announced by March; however, will you be able to wait that long? ;)

Yeah, that'll be hard. If I didn't feel so crappy today, I may have spent the entire amount at Eggshells. I still may do so before the end of the week.
