sometimes work is exhausting

Wednesday (18 hour day)
6 am - wake in hotel
7 am - drive work crew in the big blue minivan to the work site
7.15 am - delayed in route by accident (not us), fire trucks, and police
7.30 am - still delayed, because we're in a strange city and I'm really not familiar with driving blue whales
7.45 am - make bad first impression, and quickly set up laptops
8 am - endure image-laden 74-slide presentation
9.30 am - start working through three carts-full of documents
2 pm - break for lunch (sadly, we could not find the Wild Monkey Gourmet Diner)
3 pm - more working
8 pm - break for dinner (we ate in the mall)
10 pm - more working, this time in the hotel lobby
12.02 am - finish working, go bed

Thursday (12 hour day)
6 am  - wake in hotel
7 am - drive work crew in the blue whale to the work site
7.30 am - somehow we're late again
8 am - present work findings to group of folks
10 am - oops, late in leaving for the airport
10.30 am - turn in blue whale and head for the ticket counter
12 pm - board first flight
3.45 pm - board second flight
(travel backward through time by an hour)
4.45 pm - claim luggage
5 pm - can't find car in parking lot, ready to call police
5.06 pm - realize that panic button on key remote may be helpful
5.32 pm - home
