knowledge is power
Jul. 29th, 2007 09:49 pmI saw the musical based on Schoolhouse Rock last night.
21 songs, with only a couple of stinkers (does anyone really like that 50's-themed "Gravity" song, or "The Great American Melting Pot"?). The segues were really terrible, but the dialogue really isn't the reason people attend. I don't think that my buddy realized just how many words to how many songs are permanently etched in my brain. Technically, we were encouraged to sing along, even though most of the crowd only sang "Just a Bill" and "Conjunction Junction". I sang so much that the people behind me made a comment as we left the theater.
