No more gluten for me
Feb. 5th, 2007 08:53 pmThe blood test results that I got back last week said that I've got gluten intolerance (and possibly celiac disease but that's only really confirmed by an undesirable test - so we're just sticking with the assumption because either way it's the same outcome).
Right now, that means that I'll be seeing a dietician soon. I'll be learning how to eliminate all foods that contain wheat, rye, and oats. And in addition, I'll be learning how to eliminate oats and dairy initially, since those foods just aggravate the intolerance.
Given that my daily food intake consists meat, bread, and cheese... this is going to be tough. Maybe I can do it.. especially when my friends help me think that it's possible.
